People's Park of Davao City is a perfect place to refresh and energize yourself situated right amidst the city. This wonderful park is stretched over an area of about four hectare exhibiting some really fascinating features such as interactive fountain, a small forest, waterfalls, ponds and other things to     enjoy and entertain. It also exhibits a very large statue of Philippine eagle and a very interesting fantasy theme park.

Kadayawan Festival is an annual celebration in the City of Davao during the third (3rd) week of August. It is a celebration of life, a thanksgiving for the gifts of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest and serenity of living. It also focuses on the multicolored mix of Davao and Mindanao’s indigenous communities as well as migrant settlers, whose identities make up the rich cultural heritage of this island.
Having an elevation of 9,692 ft and overlooking Davao City, Mt. Apo is the tallest mountain in the country. A dormant stratovolcano, this giant creation towers over Southern Mindanao, covering the provinces of Davao del Sur and North Cotabato.
Literally translated as ‘grandfather of all mountains’, Mount Apo, Davao City is flat- topped and has 3 peaks capped by a 500m wide volcanic crater. It contains a small crater lake, Lake Venado, which is about 19 kilometers up its slopes. The mountain’s highest peak appears to be white, due to a crust of sulphur released in the mountain’s emissions.
Declared as a National Park in 1936, Mt. Apo has since then become a popular tourist place for visitors – locals and tourists alike
  1. The Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) is a giant forest raptor endemic to the Philippines. It is considered one of the largest and most powerful eagles in the world. The eagle is known to be geographically restricted to the islands of Luzon, Samar, Leyte and Mindanao.
